  1. When creating a workout, we add intervals / blocks. It would be great if we were able top drag and drop those blocks.
This would also be very useful when, for example, we use the 'Add Step' function. Hitting 'Add step' on an interval, only adds a new step directly after that interval. This means we can not copy a step from elsewhere in the session and drag it to where we want it.

  2. Better options for Availability. Example, selecting reoccurring days off per week or month. For instance, if there are training programs in place, it auto populates for all the days. Now if there is an option to block off dates we can’t work out, then the training day automatically moves to next available day. Check out Hal Higdon’s running app, the calendar lets you choose workout days.

  4. Make it easier to move a single week up or down by adding an arrow up/down button/tab to the "shift" choices or better yet just show at the end or beginning of each week. As a new user one thing I've discovered is TP makes accomplishing task so much HARDER than they need to be.

  5. Added metrics this morning on the mobile app. It wasn't showing after, so I added metrics again. Now on the web view, metrics are showing twice. I tried to delete one of them, but even after a hard refresh several minutes later, the duplicate entry remains. Web is also generally running pretty slow.

  7. Creating workouts is a pain because basic functionality is missing.
This becomes specially frustrating for swimming workouts because we need to interlace different sets, repeats, and ramps to vary the intensity, but those repeat over the course of a workout.

For example, in the following is a typical swimming workout:

    4 times 25 kick + 50 easy endurance R=20” 25 6-1-6 and 25 easy R=20" 25 6-3-6 and 25 sprint R=20" 25 right arm + 25 left arm + 25 2 left + 2 right arm + 25 mod

    Base Interval
    200 @ 80% R=40"

    4 times 25 kick +…

  9. When stopping to work with a coach because of a conflict or other, the *.ics link which enables to sync activities to a calendar (e.g. outlook) would still provide info to the former coach about an athlete's activities, which creates a privacy gap.

The *.ics link shouldnt be available to the coach but if it stays like this, separate *ics links should be created for the coaches for athletes activities to be available to them (the coaches). Once a coach is removed, their link should stop to be fed with updates on athletes' activities.

Or any other solution that gives…

  10. It would be nice to have the top 20 of records not only in absulte watt but also in w/kg. So it’s easy to see how your w/kg records are.

  11. Subject: Feature Suggestion - OpenAI Chat Integration for Instant Feedback and Analysis

    Dear Training Peaks Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am an avid user of the Training Peaks platform and have greatly benefited from its various features. Recently, I've come across an opportunity to enhance the user experience and provide valuable insights for athletes by integrating OpenAI chat functionality into the platform.

  12. It is pretty common to sometimes get obviously erroneous HR or power data (e.g. HR = 250 or power = 2000w for someone who has never seen HR >185 or power >850). When looking at past peak performances over any time horizon, this bad data means that you cannot see peak performance data or you have to manually go through and delete HR and power data from those activities respectively before you can see what the athlete's actual peak performances were. This can take a lot of time if the athlete gets bad data a few times every month, and…

  13. Elevation calculations are consistently way too high. I use a device without a barometric altimeter, and Training Peaks always calculates the elevation for my workouts. These calculated elevations are way too high: often twice what they should be. This is frustrating as it makes the data in the app far less useful.

  14. I am mostly colorblind and can't see the different colors on the workout cards very well. It would be nice to have an accessibility mode for those of us with vision needs be able to choose colors or to use words (complete - partially complete - missed - planned, etc.) instead of the default colors. Thanks

  15. We had the capability to copy and paste Metrics. For example on a previous day, we could copy that Metric and paste it to the current day (and modify as needed. I noted since the week of January 8th 2024, we are unable to do this anymore. Filling out a new Metric from scratch takes a lot more time so reintroducing the copy/paste function again would be great to make it easier for users. See attachments.

  17. I feel that the workout titles on the web app should stand out as much as duration, distance and TSS, if not more noticeable, i.e., bolder. At the moment, the titles are not being made easy for reading/viewing quickly. As a user, I always like to see what kind of workout I will be doing next first before duration, distance or TSS. Also, it is not consistent if a title for 'Note' is in bold but not the workout titles. Can the style of all titles be improved and more consistent?

  18. I'd like to be able to edit the "Training Availability" field to whatever I would like it to be. I realize there is a description but its a layer down. When I see the top level description in the calendar I want it to be meaningful. For example: "Travel to Ohio" or "Tour of Gila Stage Race" or "Training Camp" etc. vs the generic "Limited Availability" or "Not Available" This feature could be used for many special occasion things vs having to plop individual notes in on each day to describe what it is.

It is great functionality, but limited…
