ATP has no 'Rowing' limiters even though you partner w USRowing and offer Rowing as an event in ATP.. I need to use bike, run etc.
Hi, Rowing is only partially listed out in the ATP. It is available as a main event, but not event type. I need to choose a run or cycle instead of regatta. This causes the ATP to list limiters of run or bike.

Heart rate zones based on lab-based lactic acid threshold test
Having completed a lactic acid threshold test I would appreciate the option to set the heart rate for 2mmol/L, the heart rate for 4mmol/L, max heart rate and resting heart rate.
I may be in the minority, but have found that entering either of these heart rate thresholds as well as my max and resting heart rate have not yielded reasonable results for the Zone calculation. I ended up having to play around with the threshold until I arrived at reasonable zones.
Alternatively/in addition, links to the source material of how the wealth of methods calculate threshold would be helpful…31 votes -
Metabolic Zones
Metabolic zones seem to be the latest hype. Unfortunately, they have not yet appeared in your product. Apparently you are still attached to the traditional Coggan model, which does have some disadvantages, such as rougher, unspecific zones in terms of athlete type (sprinter, endurance type, ...), etc.
Do you plan to consider this in the future?
Compare e.g. Aerotune's power test...3 votes -

Make rest and recovery activities deliberately scheduled blocks of time
Make rest and recovery activities deliberately scheduled blocks of time. Just like workouts are. There's a little dopamine hit that we get by turning a workout "green," but the yoga, massage, rolling, chiropractor, compression, etc are all just as important as the workout (and equally as time consuming). I would like to be able to record and reward those, too! As it is, i record them as "other" workouts, but I'm not sure that really makes sense in the context of analytics.

NGP available in Charts, Graphs and Scatter Plot
For trail runners will be useful to have NGP available in graphs and scatter plots.
Also charts like Time in Speed Zone to be based also on NGP.10 votes -
Ability to remove (Null) time of day from scheduled workouts
TL;DR = need to be able to clear, or select a blank value, for time of a future workout.
Problem:
When workouts are added by myself or my coach, they sometimes have a clock time and sometimes only the calendar date where the time value is Null. The time is not useful to me, so it is much preferred for the time to be null for scheduled workouts. When there is a time, it's the default value of midnight (12 am).
When the default 12am time is assigned, it is actively problematic when my Training Peaks workouts sync to Google…

Allow capturing activities longer than 99:59:59
For long events such as single stage 200 mile or further trail running races (e.g. Tor des Géants, Moab240, etc) it will be useful to be able to capture durations longer than 99:59:59 because many athletes will require more than 100 hours to complete the activity.

Phone app "Macronutrients" chart needs option to "include goal calories"
Phone app "Macronutrients" chart needs the same option as web app to "include goal calories". This would allow both phone app and web app charts to have the same info.

Colour coded training plans
Please let athletes assign different colours to active training plans that they have purchased.
I have purchased, and have on my calendar, both road and MTB cycling plans. I use/complete some of each, however, can’t at a glance tell which is which. It would be great to be able to assign a colour to the plan and then see, in my calendar, which plan is for which program.7 votes -
Free athlete account linked to own coach account
As a coach it would be great if you could attach your own athlete account for free, without it being part of your athlete numbers.

View specific athlete from "My Athletes" Calendar page
I often look at the "My Athletes" dropdown in the Calendar view for a quick full picture of all my athletes. However, I'd love to be able to then click an athlete's name from the "My Athletes" view and have it reload just that athlete's calendar.

Be able to compute PA:HR if power data is available (Heart Rate Drift)
If in your training data power is available, you can only calculate Pw:Hr. It is annoying to alter your training data and delete the power data to calculate Pa:Hr. It would be super nice if you could just select the calculated variant with a dropdown of Pw:Hr and Pa:Hr, for example. This would make Heart Rate Drift much more convenient to calculate.
This hit me after the new updates by Garmin, your watch delivers Power with a Garmin strap, and you cannot really turn that off.

Programming with Reserve HR
If in the menu when you adjust the training zones of the athletes it allows you to use the option to use the reserve heart rate, which includes the maximum heart rate and the resting heart rate. However, when you are going to program a workout, it only allows you to use the maximum heart rate as a reference, which causes different values of the adjusted zones (HR Reserve) I'll give you an example of this:
Athlete 41 years old Values HR MAX 182 / HR Rest 46
…Zones adjusted with Maximum HR Z1 91-108 / Z2 109-126 / Z35 votes
