  1. Add metrics and progress bar or percent completed to custom goals over a given time period. For example: Bike 3000 miles in 12 months. I could view my progress of achieving that goal at any time.

Strava and Garmin currently have this option.

  2. Currently you cannot 'overlap' ATPs. You can create multiple ATPs but these must not overlap in terms of dates. However, it would be very useful to be able to create different versions of an ATP (with the same / similar date period), so that we could compare different possible approaches to periodising the year. At any one time, only one of these ATPs would be 'active', and that's what would link to the calendar etc. But you could switch between the different ATPs. Currently the only way to do this kind of comparison is to create an ATP, then make…

  3. It would be great to specify a different intensity unit for each step of a workout.
For example, for my runs I would like to use "% of threshold HR" for worm up and cool down and use "% of threshold pace" for the intervals.

This is particularly annoying when you have a long warm up before an intervals session. You want to use "% of threshold pace" for the intervals (HR won't work because of the lag), but the same intensity unit is used for the warm up as well, resulting in the watch continuously beeping if not in…

  4. Just another option in the drop down. Right now it is Unavailabe and Limited--what if this also included "Very Available" this would be for blocks of time that the athlete would have more availability. Example -- I will be taking a trip to California to have a focused block of training and racing. Notifying this in TP would help my coach see where he can maybe load some volume. Cheers!

  5. When I have done a swimming session the total time what is put from my garmin forerunner 255 is less in trainingpeaks. Garmin is including the 5, 10 or 15 sec of change/rest in betreden an exercise and trainingpeaks is taking this out leading towards Orange or even Red training sessions as the time is not met. These small breaks are part of the training and should be included. E.G. by running you also don't reduce the time of an interval training by substracting the small recovery breaks in between

  6. data in sleep metrics is currently measured in % hr. It should be measured in hrs:min:sec, like the time field in workouts.

also, more generally, it would be good to have a general custom field where athletes can track a bespoke metric which may not be currently available to be measured in metrics. thanks.

  7. For mountain runners and skimo racers a peak VAM chart similar to the peak power and peak HR charts would be really useful. You could see your best VAM for varying durations and track improvements over time.

  8. For example, an athlete chooses Imperial for his/her metrics, however, chooses a 25-meter pool as the default. This should then trigger bike and run workouts to be in miles and the swim workouts to be in meters (on their TrainingPeaks calendar not just their device).

  10. Sometimes there's some info that it's interesting to add to your workout to share with youre trainer. In my case, I have a nimbers sheet with all the details about what I have eaten in my long sessions. I would love to add the file, or much better, an screenshot. Many thanks!

  11. I don't use email notifications for most athletes (just 'gold' ) so would prefer that anyone who gets premium account isn't automatically turned on for email notifications - would be nice to have default OFF vs. On or provide that option.

    *Similar for threshold notifications

  12. Indication for using an external heart rate device.

Explanation: TP doesn't indicate when the athlete uses the heart rate from his/her watch or from a real external heart rate monitor.
Since the watch measurements are not accurate, I would like to have an indication on the session what was the source of the heart rate data.

  13. Often times I'll utilize the feature that allows removal of non-essential laps. Presently, I have to select a lap, click the checkbox and then wait for the delete prompt... so 3 clicks per lap. Y'all are good at math... if I'm removing 10 laps, that's 30 clicks vs. with my suggestion it's 12.

  17. Distribute the total weekly training time in specific sports (e.g. 25% swimming, 40% biking, 25% running and 10% strength) and zones, at my preference. This could be used as a guide to create my weekly training plan more accurately and find the amount of time required to plan for each sport and zone.

  18. If in the menu when you adjust the training zones of the athletes it allows you to use the option to use the reserve heart rate, which includes the maximum heart rate and the resting heart rate. However, when you are going to program a workout, it only allows you to use the maximum heart rate as a reference, which causes different values of the adjusted zones (HR Reserve) I'll give you an example of this:

Athlete 41 years old Values HR MAX 182 / HR Rest 46

         Zones adjusted with Maximum HR Z1 91-108 / Z2 109-126 / Z3

  19. Would it be possible to add a "SICKNESS/INJURY" option when you "+" to ADD A WORKOUT or ADD OTHER. It would be great if under "ADD OTHER" their was another option for "sickness/injury". This way you can add a note to a day if an athlete is injured or sick and easy to see especially when looking back over training. It would make it a lot easier to see rather than entering it as a note or as a "other" workout which is what you have to do now. Athletes already get multiple notes in their week on other things…

  20. I run trying to keep my heart rate as LOW as possible while keeping my pace steady. Please add statistics that help with lowering my HR, not celebrating higher HR. How about adding a fitness factor that combines the runners pace and HR in one number, where a faster pace and lower HR is the goal.
