  2. Currently you can do a structured run workout on heart rate, it will give an alarm when you go out of your zone.
    I would like this for run power (with stryd).

  3. PROBLEM
    All workouts created using the Workout builder look the same. You cant tell if its Power, HR or RPE based.

    SOLUTION:
    on the calendar, a workout will have a small icon showing if its based on Power, HR or RPE at a glace!

    If you build a:
    Bike workout based on Heart Rate - a 'Red Heart' will show
    Bike workout based on Power - a 'Lightning bolt' will show
    Bike workout based on RPE - a 'RPE chart' will show

  5. I noticed yesterday when one of my athlete used the new limited availability feature, it generated an email to me as their coach that they place this limited availability note on their calendar. I thought his was great, and request that the same occur with the regular note feature. Currently the only way I know when an athlete leaves a standard note is if I see it on their calendar. Thanks.

  6. Having a lot of Plans in the training plans section, I think it would be a good idea to have highlighted current active training plans. This would make it so much easy to go find when you need find them.

  7. Currently when I record a bike activity that doesn't have neither power nor heart rate it automatically pairs with the first planned activity for this day. However, I can't unpair it as I can for "normal" activities where HR and/or power are present. So I need to delete the paired planned/completed activity.

  9. Since the PMC is supposed to be an "at a glance" chart, it will be much more intuitive to see if a day's workout is above / below the ATL/CTL plots if they all were on the same scale.

    I see that this idea has been offered up before but declined in 2014. Since I no rationale was given, I thought I would bring it up again in the hope that with the all the changes you have made to TrainingPeaks it would be an easy enhancement.

    Great question. We’ve continued to ponder this. We use a different Y-axis scale to display TSS, ATL and CTL so that a user is better able to discern the (relatively) small changes in CTL which are key to tracking training performance. If the TSS scale was the same as ATL and CTL, the larger changes and thus scale of TSS would likely make it difficult to easily monitor changes in CTL.

  10. When viewing a workout, it's easy to see peak values for HR, speed, pace, cadence, power, etc. for various durations. I have often found it would be helpful in analyzing workouts even further if I could easily determine where in my workout was my lowest speed, cadence, power, HR, etc. Then easily identifying these slower parts of a run/ride could help you identify limiters and/or weaknesses that you need to improve, or possibly just areas of a workout you need better mental focus perhaps.

    Would it be possible to add in future updates of the workout viewer to have these…

  11. Add the ability to load a route, harvested from many platforms, Garmin, Strava, Kamoot, RideWith GPS, etc to plan a pre determine route or segments as part or the work out. This could be imported as a past workout or a "planned" work out with data to be auto loaded into the current "planned" workout for time, distance, work,tss, if etc . This would be very useful for those of us that coach more locally based and are familiar with local routes, goals and times.

    Thank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.

    Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

  12. I've recently came to the conclusion that certain WKO data & charts do not take a custom crank length into account.

    It would be good if the crank length (accessible using the cranklength expression variable) could be sent along with the activity data from TP to WKO, and used for data & charts of that activity in WKO.

    I think this can be solved in a rather generic & future proof way.
    - Add an 'equipment' property to an activity when sending data from TP to WKO.

  13. Add athlete birthdays (to their own calendar obviously) and or US holidays to the athlete's TP calendar.
    Make this an option for the coach to enable/disable.
    Birthdays and US Holiday notes on the calendar should be hidden by default if this feature is enabled by the coach.

    Today, we already capture the discrete data (athlete birthday date), so we could post the information to the athlete's calendar.

    WHY DO THIS?
    Remembering your customers birthday is just good for business. Period. Forgetting this is well ... disheartening to the athlete. Ask me how I know.

  15. Hi colleges, I have a lot of work-outs in my library. Next tot strength & conditioning I also do CPET exercise testing (Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Testing). From that the athletes get training zones built on / derived from FTP/anaerobic threshold (VT2), but also from aerobic threshold/Fatmax (VT1). In the work-out in TrainingPeaks the 'units' are always % of anaerobic threshold or % of heart rate max. However, when I want my clients to do a warm up in zone 1, or a cooling down in the recovery zone (or a recovery phase during interval sessions), this can only be seen…

  17. Is it possible to get Samsung Health added to the list of compatible apps? Otherwise I have to use the Health Sync app to move my data from Samsung Health to Suunto (which I don't use) just so I can move it to Training Peaks. This complexity makes it hard to justify signing up for TP though I hear it's an outstanding platform.

  19. Hi, Rowing is only partially listed out in the ATP. It is available as a main event, but not event type. I need to choose a run or cycle instead of regatta. This causes the ATP to list limiters of run or bike.
