Manual ATP, without duration limit, and with colors in the bar graph.
It would be important to better develop my work if, when planning the ATP, a minimum or maximum period of time did not have to be specified.
When planning manually, it is a hassle to have to create an ATP with a specific duration.
I think it would be interesting for the coach to select the type of work and the load in each type of week, and adjust said planning throughout the season.
Sometimes, we prepare a big event for 6-8 months, and yet, due to an injury, we have to cut that planning and look for a new…

Trash functionality for easily restoring accidently deleted workouts
If workouts are accidently deleted there should be a trash functionality to be able to restore those workouts.
This might happen if you synch your training plan to your sportswatch and you want to do today`s acutal training session later and just go for a little commute or something else.Is anyone else struggling with this?

How about an option where your training sessions for the last 6 months get deleted off an athletes account if they decide to walk away? Not
Have an option that if an athlete walks away or just disconnects from a coach the last 3-6 months' worth of programming gets deleted too? Not the data so what they did would still be there but the workouts that the coaches have spent time creating. So easy for someone to just leave and then go to another coach who potentially has access to all your workouts. On the flip side of that if a coach removes an athlete then there is the option for these to be deleted or not.
As coaches, we spend a good bit of money…10 votes -
Search for past workouts using RPE or the subjective feeling scale
I think it is very useful to allow the search for activities based on the search criterion based on RPE and subjective feeling. It would also be interesting to be able to visualize the trend of these parameters over time using a graph, in order to understand what may have been done wrong in the preparation

change default units for strength
I love the new strength programming but please for the UK coaches I would say we have a 50/50 spilt of if we run/ride in miles or km but our weights in gyms are usually KGs. When I set an athlete a strength workout it's set up in lbs by default as my settings in TP are imperial. Please can we have a separate units for strength as I often miss that it has reverted to lbs when I am adding from my library or just a new workout. This then complicates things for my athletes to record their weight.

Add a timer to the new strength workouts interface
In order to use a timer I need to switch apps on my phone however if there was a running clock on the screen while I completed my strength work I could time things like planks in one app. For example, TrainHeroic has a running timer in the top right of the screen (screenshot below for reference). Would be super helpful and the app is already timing me so I just want to see that too!

Strength Training Workout Recorded on Apple Watch Flows as "Other" in TrainingPeaks
Traditional Strength Training recorded on an Apple Watch flows to TrainingPeaks as "others," which requires me to manually update the workout to Strength for my athletes (more are using the Apple Watch now). This seems to be a rather quick fix to make. Would it be possible for the TrainingPeaks Product team to look into it and get a fix?

Add a 'Team functionality", which allows for more multidisciplinary collaboration with nutritionists, doctors, physiotherapists...
For example,
a kind of diary/annual plan, in which the workouts are less detailed but especially the detailed supplementation schedule can be added to certain periods, where altitude training can be planned, where medical reports/check-ups or physio screenings can be uploaded...
Ideally, this would then have an output function/reference/link to the detailed workout schedule. An overview of all the 'team members' with a brief summary on past training load, injuries, HRV/RHR, their next race goal... could be interesting as well.
Having a possibility to chat with other coaches, nutritionists, doctors through different accounts about a certain shared athlete will be…

Font size & workout blocks in new look Home updates list are unwieldy.
Please shrink the workout boxes and comment font back to what they were before the recent update. A lot of my athletes comment extensively. I catch these via the Home Update list on the right of the screen. At a glance, it seems like I am getting about half the information within the screen that I am accustomed to.

Add to workout views the ability to see your slowest/lowest/etc values per various durations
When viewing a workout, it's easy to see peak values for HR, speed, pace, cadence, power, etc. for various durations. I have often found it would be helpful in analyzing workouts even further if I could easily determine where in my workout was my lowest speed, cadence, power, HR, etc. Then easily identifying these slower parts of a run/ride could help you identify limiters and/or weaknesses that you need to improve, or possibly just areas of a workout you need better mental focus perhaps.
Would it be possible to add in future updates of the workout viewer to have these…

Confirmation popup that Drag and drop workout files (BETA feature) has been successful
Drag and drop can sometimes fail in TP BETA and no way of knowing until looking on the calendar. For one workout this is not a train wreck, but if you drag multiple files over and 1 or 2 of them fail, then its very time consuming and frustrating working out what has happened and putting it right.

Workout duplicates, triplicates, etc
The new syncing tools (ex. Garmin AutoSync or tapiriik) are very handy for athletes. However they have introduced a new problem. Athletes without the necessary attention or guidance just activate everything from different platforms and the same workouts just start syncing without checking if that file is already at TP. The end result: duplicates, triplicates, etc. As a coach I would like to have a tool where duplicates, triplicates, etc would be detected and offered a solution to fix it. Thanks.

Keep dates in the training plan library, not just numbered days & weeks
Keep dates in the training plan library (how the classic version has it), not just numbered days & weeks.
9 votesThis change to in how training plans are edited was made based on user feedback. In the future we may go back to showing dates for plans with a forced end dates only.

Have TSS, and Acute (ATL) and Chronic Training Load (CTL) all have the same Y axis scale.
Since the PMC is supposed to be an "at a glance" chart, it will be much more intuitive to see if a day's workout is above / below the ATL/CTL plots if they all were on the same scale.
I see that this idea has been offered up before but declined in 2014. Since I no rationale was given, I thought I would bring it up again in the hope that with the all the changes you have made to TrainingPeaks it would be an easy enhancement.
9 votesGreat question. We’ve continued to ponder this. We use a different Y-axis scale to display TSS, ATL and CTL so that a user is better able to discern the (relatively) small changes in CTL which are key to tracking training performance. If the TSS scale was the same as ATL and CTL, the larger changes and thus scale of TSS would likely make it difficult to easily monitor changes in CTL.

Intergate a pre determined "route" via.gpx (etc) into a workout.
Add the ability to load a route, harvested from many platforms, Garmin, Strava, Kamoot, RideWith GPS, etc to plan a pre determine route or segments as part or the work out. This could be imported as a past workout or a "planned" work out with data to be auto loaded into the current "planned" workout for time, distance, work, tss, if etc . This would be very useful for those of us that coach more locally based and are familiar with local routes, goals and times.
9 votesThank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.
Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

Link WKO cranklength to the crank length from the equipment linked to an activity
I've recently came to the conclusion that certain WKO data & charts do not take a custom crank length into account.
It would be good if the crank length (accessible using the
cranklength
expression variable) could be sent along with the activity data from TP to WKO, and used for data & charts of that activity in WKO.I think this can be solved in a rather generic & future proof way.
- Add an 'equipment' property to an activity when sending data from TP to WKO.
- This property can include things like the bike used for the activity,…9 votes -
WorkoutBuilder: Add Rest Blocks (Not just Recovery blocks) with no HR target. Garmin API supports this!
In WorkoutBuilder please add a simple rest block that doesn't need to have HR target associated with it.
