  1. Please make it easier for us coaches that have athletes swimming in both meter/yard pools.

    It feels redundant needing to manually change to meters/yards on each interval or set. Can't there be an easy solution that can automatically switch the workout to one or the other?

    Sure, I can have multiple folders, but that duplicates the work I need to do and also clutters my library

  3. The current metrics system takes everything it can get from all linked applications, even when there is overlap. For example, I have Garmin connected to sync rides from my Edge and weight from my scale. I also have hrv4training connected to sync morning HRV and resting HR. When I go for a ride, Garmin sends my lowest HR to TP as "resting" HR, giving me two values for resting HR (one from each provider).

    On the old metrics system, it was simple enough (although annoying) to delete the Garmin HR card. A better solution IMO would be to allow configuration…

  4. When exporting cycling workout data to .csv please add a column/data field for bike. Without this you can't filter the data by bike. I use an indoor trainer and one regular bicycle, and would like an easy way to filter/sort. I'm sure others have multiple bikes and might want to analyze data for one bike only

  5. I have a library of dozens (if not hundreds) of run training plans on TP from which I can select. Unfortunately, once I have selected a plan and applied it, the identity of the plan is not displayed anywhere on TP. For reference, I also have purchased training plans on FinalSurge, which does provide a means for me to identify the active plan. I think this omission is a significant missing feature in TP, and if there were a way for me to export my TP training plans to FinalSurge, I would do so and only use FinalSurge.

  6. Over the past few years i have had a few athletes come and go. It is always nice when they return however i often find that they have simply copied months of sessions from our previous history and then re applied it whilst we are not working together.
    I am not suggesting that we remove their data, but it would be nice to be able to unpair the sessions and clear away the intellectual property so that it cannot be so easily re purposed.

  7. I don't understand why it's not possible to get a graph or table of average speed and or duration by workout, in my case cycling ride. Average speed isn't an option and the Fitness History's smallest breakdown is by week. It would be great if you could do month/week/workout and see per workout metrics like distance and speed. Yes, I understand the comparisons may not always be valid, but it would still be nice to see it and I can use the comparison "at my own peril."

  9. Can we introduce to have a toggle on Notes to make them Private or Public (visible to coach) ... sometimes I make notes/ reminders for myself and don't want my coach to know...

  10. The only way to send miles splits to Training Peaks from the Apple Watch is to hit the 'lap' button every mile. This is a different behavior from using a Garmin device which sends the per mile data as laps. I know the Apple Watch data is available as both Strava and Apple Health are giving me my data per mile. It would be very helpful to send this data to TP so my coach has it instead of multiple workarounds, like attaching screenshots from the Apple health app.

  11. In order to use a timer I need to switch apps on my phone however if there was a running clock on the screen while I completed my strength work I could time things like planks in one app. For example, TrainHeroic has a running timer in the top right of the screen (screenshot below for reference). Would be super helpful and the app is already timing me so I just want to see that too!

  12. User story: As a user, I would like all my training sessions (including strength) to sync with my calendar so that I can effectively plan my schedule and coordinate with my coach.

    Background: The current feature only includes some workouts so it means the calendar sync feature only provides partial coverage of your plan and you have to toggle between TP and your calendars to plan effectively.

  13. Tonal is a popular device for at home gyms, providing weightlifting capabilities which is an important part of any training plan. Include Tonal as a connected device so that weightlifting workouts are automatically uploaded to TrainingPeaks.

  14. It would be very helpful to have an optional emergency contact box in the athlete's profile. The coach is often the first person to realize if something is wrong with an athlete, especially if the athlete is living alone.

  16. Can a more comprehensive or separate view be implemented in the Map and Graph summary view? Check the uploaded files for an example of how I implemented it on WKO5 and how it compares to the current view of the TP web app.

  17. Insert a "nutrition/fuelling" box beneath pre-activity comments.

    Context - Of late I have encountered two issues with my athletes accounts using the FuelIn app.

    First, when the FuelIn app inserts its fuelling recommendations for a session in the pre-activity comments box (bracketed by the header and footer --------- FUELIN RECOMMENDATIONS ---------) my pre-existing (coach) comments/guidance/explanations get bumped to the very bottom and get missed.

    Second, with running workouts in particular, sessions planned in km auto convert to meters and absurd cadences replace those prescribed (i.e. 0.043543536 - 0.056437). I now understand that this is an interoperability/communications issue w the FuelIn…

Since we all know that training in one sport does not directly carry over to another sport, it is somewhat fundamentally incorrect for TrainingPeaks to be combining the TSS from all sports into the CTL graph. It would be much more helpful from a planning perspective (especially for multisport athletes / triathletes) if each sport got its own CTL graph and if they could all be displayed on the same PMC.

    I do think that the various sports should be combined when calculating Fatigue and Form, as all workout types do contribute to the level of fatigue and recovery the…

This may already be available, but think I would more use for the Coachs journal if it were available on the app. Sitting down at my desk to write training is typically blocked out, focused time. But notes on a particular athletes often come after a quick glance through their most recent workout soon after I get a notification.
